The big story this weekend in England is the World Cup draw. And what fun, the first game for England is against the United States.
The English see the group as easy -- besides the US and England, Slovakia and Algeria round out the group. I of course am excited by it, but considering the US team's history of losing games expected to win and winning games expected to lose, I fear the worst. But it should be fun here next June.

How many actual native born American citizens are on the "American" team?
ReplyDeleteFor that matter, how many actual Brits does the English team boast?
Just curious...

Wow... where'd you go, Anthony?!
ReplyDeleteYou started off strong - 7 threads in November - and then in December... just one.
What's the deal? Just busy? Discouraged by lack of responses? Nothing's wrong I hope.
Hey... I take breaks from blogging too - but then again I tend to shoot out multiple emails per day regarding various "political" topics.
If you don't mind, allow me to give you some advice: Use this blog as a kind of diary. Don't worry about what I or any reader thinks or if you get or don't get reaction. Blogging allows you to create a record that you'll always be able to refer back to.
Hey... Anthony... you're family focused, right? You take pride in being a good dad, right? Think about this, the more blog entries you create the more your kids and some day grandkids and great-grandkids will have to look back upon when they're of an age to wonder "where did I come from, what are my family roots."
